Campground

This campground is first come first serve and located in a high elevation stand of lodgepole pine and mixed conifers. There are 13 sites, 26 hi-line posts, one mounting ramp, and two manure bins. Water for stock is available. Bring your own drinking water. Mt. Adams Wilderness is just outside the campground to the south. Numerous trails are nearby including the High Lakes Trail #116, Keenes Trail #120 and Muddy Meadows Trail #13. A wilderness permit is required to enter the wilderness. Permits are free and self-issued at the trailhead. Motorized and mechanized uses are not allowed in Wilderness areas. Capacity: 107 Fee: Overnight Use: Single Site: $23 per night Additional Vehicle Fee : $8 per vehicle per night Water: Not for drinking; water is available for animals/stock Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: Access limited in old loop to camper pickups with smaller trailers.Larger rigs can be accommodated in the new loop.Wilderness restrictions apply within Mt. Adams Wilderness.
