Palisade Group Camp
This was formerly a very small family campground that has recently been converted into an "overflow" group camp designed for smaller groups (less than 25) who are not able to reserve the Rock Creek Lake Group site. While not quite as scenic as the Rock Creek Group site, this location is well suited for large family and small organizational group gatherings. Capacity: 30 Fee: Overnight Use: Group Site: $95 per night (up to 30 people) Open Season: May Water: Yes, drinking water is available from a hand pump Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: Use is by reservation only at 1-877-444-6777 or www.recreation.gov. Dogs must always be on leash and under owner control. Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended; bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.
