Accessible from the town of Collbran, CO, at an elevation of 10,100 feet. Hiking, ATV trails, fishing and jeep roads are nearby. One of the last campgrounds to open, being on the north side of Crag Crest ridge and shaded. There are 36 campsites, almost all are shaded. Maximum spur length is 42 ft. Capacity: 185 Fee: Overnight Use: Single Site: $18 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $9 per night Day Use: $6 per vehicle Water: No water is available Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
