This campground is ideally suited for tent camping. The campsites are wooded with aspen and spruce trees along the north fork of the south Arkansas River. Dispersed camping spots may be found along 4x4 road (240) between Angel of Shavano and North Fork campgrounds. Capacity: 105 Fee: $25.00 for overnight use as of 2025. Open Season: May 20, 2022 Water: Drinking Water, hand pump Restroom: Vault Toilet Restrictions: Maximum 8 persons per site. Tents and vehicles must be in designated spots. Dogs must be leashed. Stay limit of 14 consecutive days.
