Deep Lake Campground
At an elevation of 10,580 feet, subalpine Deep Lake Campground is on the east side of 37 acre Deep Lake. Located in a sparse spruce/fir forest, the campground has nice views of Deep Lake, the subalpine meadows surrounding and the start of Deep Creek canyon. Deep Lake Campground is the largest and most popular campground on the Eagle Ranger District. It has 35 sites with picnic tables, fire ring grills and level gravel driveways that can generally accommodate an RV under the length of 35 feet. Capacity: 185 Fee: Overnight Use: Single Site: $6 per night Water: None Restroom: Vault Toilets Restrictions: Only non-motorized boats or boats with electric motors are allowed in Deep Lake. **FOOD STORAGE ORDER is in effect requiring all food and refuse to be stored in hard-sided vehicles, approved bear-resistant containers, or supended at least 10 feet clear of the ground at all points and four feet horizontally from any supporting tree or pole.
