Handcart Campground
Off Park County Route 60, from US Hwy 285, the Handcart campground is surrounded by lodgepole pine trees. The campground has 10 campsites for TENT CAMPING ONLY.All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. Capacity: 50 Open Season: May 28, 2021 Water: Hand pump. Available during peak season only. Restroom: Vault toilet Restrictions: The following restrictions apply to this campground : Maximum 8 persons per site, 2 tents and 2 vehicles. Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.
