Little Cottonwood - Recreation Site
The Little Cottonwood Campground is located adjacent to the Beaver River just out of the community of Beaver. If high elevations are a health concern this is a great place to enjoy the mountains. Elevation is 6,500 feet. Opportunities for stream fishing, hiking and hunting are available. Common vegetation includes cottonwood, aspen, pinion, juniper and ponderosa pine trees. There are two accessible sites that can be reserved through recreation.gov. Within the campground there are fourteen single-family campsites. All units have picnic tables and grills. Potable water is available during the summer season. Capacity: 70 Open Season: May-October Water: Yes, drinking water is available. Restroom: Flush toilet(s) Restrictions: Open to all street legal vehicles including street legal ATV/UTV for ingress and egress only. Pets must be on a leash. Camp fires are limited to fire rings in the camp sites.
