Lakeview Campground
Lakeview Campground is a large campground situated in lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and sage habitat at an elevation of 9,500 feet overlooking Twin Lakes Reservoir. Facilities include vault restrooms, picnic tables, fire rings, and pedestal grills.The campground has eight loops, A – H. Loops A-F are reservable sites, while sites in loops G and H are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are not reservable. Some of the sites have beautiful views of Twin Lakes Reservoir. Firewood is for sale at the host site.High altitude sickness may occur at this altitude.During the 2022 season, water will be unavailable at this campground. Please bring water for your camp, including enough water to completely drown your fire, leaving it cold to the touch, if you are having a campfire. Capacity: 360 Open Season: Late May/Early June Water: Water is not currently available at this campground. Restroom: Vault toilets are available in the campground. Restrictions: Maxium of eight people per site Maximum three tents per site or one RV and two tents Dogs, including service dogs, must be leashed at all times No discharge of firearms or fireworks Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground Camping is not allowed behind a locked gate
