Columbine Campground
Columbine Campground offers diverse camping opportunities in two units on the Uncompahgre Plateau. The unit on the west side of the Divide Road has several small campsites that are best for small groups and tents. The larger section on the east side of Divide Road has numerous campsites that can accomodate large RVs. Each campsite has a fire ring/grill, and some have tables. Popular activities in the area are hiking, ATV riding, horseback riding, mountain bike riding. The road is unpaved but accessible by 2WD vehicles. Capacity: 30 Fee: Day Use: $6 per vehicle per day Overnight Use: Single Site: $16 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $8 per night Water: No water is available Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
