Steamboat Rock has 10 picnic sites and/or tent camping sites. There is a main parking lot and from there, a short walk to the sites. A restroom facility is available, but there is no potable water. The area is located adjacent to Boxelder Creek. Steamboat Rock Area Layout Reservations are not available for Steamboat Rock area. Sites are available first come, first served. See the layout of the area to find your perfect camping site. Download Capacity: 105 Fee: Day Use: $5 per vehicle per day Overnight Use: Single Site: $18 per night Open Season: Memorial Day to Labor day Water: No drinking water is available Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: Camp and picnic ground are closed the weekend after Labor Day weekend.
