1,000-foot elevation. Undeveloped camping area on the wild and scenic Kings River. This area is secluded and requires significant travel time to visit giant sequoia trees. Whitewater rafting down to Pine Flat Reservoir, with up to Class III rapids. Special food storage rule in effect because this is black bear country.
