Purgatoire Campground
A developed campground camping with the following activities available: stream fishing, hiking, bicycling and horseback riding. The North Fork Trail #1309 trailhead is located on the north side of campground. This trail is a non-motorized trail and you can access the Wildcat and the Coal Creek trails. These 2 trails dead end into private land and are not maintained. Restroom: There are 3 outhouses, 2 are accessible Restrictions: The following restrictions apply to this campground : Maximum 8 persons per site: 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle. Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.
