Salters Cabin Horse Camp is located in a shaded, second-growth, ponderosa pine forest and makes for a great escape from those hot summer days! There is a corral on site for folks camping with horses to use. The cabin on site is for historic purposes and the Forest Service recommends that visitors do not enter or camp in the cabin. Capacity: 33 Fee: No fees are required for this site Water: No water is available Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: There is a 14 day stay limit on all National Grassland and US Forest Service land including but not limited to campgrounds and other developed facilities.
