Junction Creek Campground
Junction Creek Campground is located just 5 miles northwest of Durango, is a good base camp for area activities. Four camping loops are nestled amongst the ponderosa pines with a total of 44 campsites, 29 reservable sites and 14 sites with electrical hook-ups. Junction Creek Campground also has one group campsite accommodating up to 50 people. Junction Creek Day Use / Picnic Area: The day-use loop has one group picnic site that can accommodate 65 people and includes a pavilion, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, and electrical hookups. This group day use area is reservable.. There is also one family picnic site available on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity: 368 Fee: Overnight Use: Standard: $32 per night Electric Site Charge Single: $13 per night Double: $64 per night Electric Site Charge Double: $18 per night Group Campsite: $125 per night Group Pavillion and Picnic Area: $150 Open Season: May Water: Potable Water Restroom: Vault Toilet (8) Restrictions: Quiet time is typically between 10pm - 6am. Please be a good neighbor and limit use of generators to no more than one hour at a time. Dogs must be leashed or otherwise physically restrained. Do not leave pets unattended. Check-out time: 12:00 pm; Check-in time: 2:00 pm - if the site is empty, campers may come in anytime. Standard single site occupancy is 8, but a single family with > 8 members is acceptable. Equipment with wheels (RVs, campers, cars) must fit in the parking spur. There is not any overflow parking available. Max RV size = 60 ft
