Robbers Roost Campground
The Robbers Roost Campground is located next to Hwy 40 and the Fraser River near Winter Park. There are 11 non-electric sites that will accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site contains a tent pad, fire grate and picnic table. Additional facilities included restrooms and trash service. Water is available at the Idlewild Campground 5.5 miles away. The Fraser River runs by the campground. Popular recreation activities include hiking in the Arapaho National Forest and the nearby Vasquez Peak Wilderness, scenic driving and wildlife viewing. Capacity: 55 Fee: Overnight Use: Single Site: $29 per night Open Season: 6/17 Water: No water is available Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: A single site may hold up to eight people. Tents must fit on the pads provided. RVs, trailers and other vehicles must fit on the parking spur. Driving or parking off road is not permitted. Maximum Vehicle Length: 25 Pets must be on a hand-held leash.
