Shannon Creek Campground is situated on a forested slope leading down to the shores of Baker Lake. The site is located along the Baker Lake Road (Forest Service Road #11) approximately 23.3 miles from State Route 20. At the lake shore there are a few campsites nestled in the trees, day use picnic spots and a boat launch. The gravel boat ramp is short and not suitable for larger boats. Day use parking area is limited in size and launching during Sockeye fishing season is limited to Shannon Creek campers only. The campground includes 19 tent/trailer campsites, 17 are single units and 2 are double campsites. The day use area has 2 picnic sites and a small grassy area for relaxing adjacent to the lakeshore. The views across the lake look towards the Noisy Creek drainage and the Noisy-Diobsud Wilderness Area. Capacity: 170 Fee: View Recreation.gov for Fee Information and open season dates. Water: Yes, drinking water is available from a hand pump Restroom: Vault toilet(s) Restrictions: All developed site regulations apply. Dogs must be on leash, campfires in developed rings only, quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Fireworks are prohibited. Stay limit is 14 days. During Sockeye fishing season boat ramp use is limited to Shannon Creek campers only.
