Courtney Lake Campground
Courtney Lake Campground features a single loop with 21 spacious sites that can accommodate tents, trailers, or larger motor homes. Courtney Lake campground also features two walk-in sites for tent campers. Of the 21 sites, 6 of them accommodate equestrian camping. All 6 have high lines and 3 have a corral. There is also a hitching post at the campground restroom. Currently it is pack it in, pack it out for horse waste cleanup. This campground provides a scenic view and access to the lake. Each site offers wooden picnic table, fire ring, lantern post and parking spur. Two sets of vault toilets and two pressurized water faucets are located within the camping loop. Adjacent to the campground is a boat landing and picnic area. The 2.2-mile Circle of Life Trail with its bog viewing platform adjoins the campground with trailheads at the south side of campsite #7 and across from the day use area parking. One of the Ottawa's only equestrian trails can be found adjacent to the campground. Capacity: 105 Fee: Overnight Use: Single Site: $22 per night Day use/boat launch - $5/vehicle/day or $30/vehicle/season Day use fees will not be charged to those who have already paid for a campground campsite. Open Season: May 24 - October 31 Water: Drinking Water-Pressurized Faucets Restroom: 1 Accessible Vault Toilet and 3 Single Vault Toilets in campground. Restrictions: Camping in a developed recreation site is allowed for a period not longer than 14 days, except as otherwise posted. After this time, you must move to another campground or dispersed site for at least 24 hours. Campers must occupy the site the first night. Eight people and 2 motorized vehicles are allowed per campsite with a maximum of one RV or camper trailer and two tents per camping site or three tents per camping site.
