Whaleback Launch Site

Campground near Weed, CA

 A popular paragliding launch site at 7437 ft (2267 m) elevation with spectacular views of Mt. Shasta and the Shasta Valley. The Whaleback (8,528 ft; 2599 m) is one of  the highest points on the Goosenest Ranger District.
